Shia LaBeouf Shits on Himself Until He Was 12
Shia LaBeouf recently did an interview with GQ magazine as he was featured on the magazine cover for the June 2008 issue.
The Transformers fame who will also be appearing in this summer’s Indiana Jones sequel reveals that he used to shit on himself until he was 12-years-old and called up his mom to invite her to join the conversation to share the embarrassing stories of him shitting in his pants.
Here’s Shia’s conversation with GQ magazine:
“I used to shit on myself until I was 12 years old. I didn’t stop until I got a job.”
“Are you serious?”
“I promise you. We could call my mother right now. You got your cell phone?”
(LaBeouf puts her on speaker)
“Hello, Ma?
“Yes, honey?”
“Hey, Ma, you’ll never believe what I’m talking about right now.”
“Where are you at?”
“Well, I’m at the range, but I’m talking to Kevin, and we were deciding how to be the most uncensored. Like, what’s the one thing I never told nobody? And I was telling him how I used to shit on myself. You remember that, Ma?”
“You shared that secret, huh?”
“Tell him what I did with the boxers, Ma.”
“Well, I don’t know. The times you did it, Shia, you thought you were going to get away with it. But you’d always get busted. The boxers would fall down on my head from the towel rack, or I’d find them under the bed.”
“Ma, Ma, tell him about the karate class at the YMCA.”
“Oh yeah. Karate class was very sweet, because you were all strong in your karate suit, and then all of a sudden a little brown ball would fall out of your clothes on the floor.”
“Ma, Ma, you remember when I was doing those kicking exercises in the gi [karate uniform]? You remember what happened with the kick that I did? My last kick in karate class?”
“What? The piece that flew?”
“Yeah, the piece that flew and hit the wall. Remember that piece?”
“You guys have a good day.”
“I love you. Bye, Ma.”
A kid who use to shit on himself until he was 12 is now one of the most successful actor with numbers of blockbuster film in his hand. Dayum!

That might be more than I ever really wanted to know about someone… and just a little bit to detailed, but hey! whatever floats your boat! He’s comfortable enough with himself that he can share that with everyone, so…. more power to him I guess.
…although perhaps not more karate power.
I actually got this off the rack to read the interview. His candid nature is really refreshing. Nice to see that someone who comes from a batshit crazy family like mine can become so successfull in an industry that is governed by how well you spin your publicity. He is great because he is dedicated to his craft. I cringed a little when I read the gory details, but hey, I bet the garbage sifting photog bottomfeeders are thinking “FUCK!! After that freely divulged piece of personal information…what’s left?” No sense in skulking around someone’s bushes when you can just knock on the door. I can’t help but think it’s a little punk on the press and public for being morbidly curious prying little fuckers. So he shit himself til he was 12…I sucked my thumb until I got braces when I was 13…my best friend is a chronic masturbater to this day and he is 28….my brother shits with the bathroom door open….whoopee fuckin’ do. You know who is REALLY shitting themselves? His publicist.
