New Cast of Beverly Hills 90210 Remake

The new cast of 1990’s remake of Beverly Hills, 90210 posed for a photoshoot.
The show is set to premiere on the CW network this September 2, running on 8:00-9:00 EST, Tuesday evenings.
Current known cast includes Shenae Grimes, Tristan Wilds, AnnaLynne McCord, Dustin Milligan, Jessica Stroup and Michael Steger and triumphant return appearance by 90210 alum Jennie Garth.

I am the biggest 90210 fan ever!!! The day each season gets released i buy it When I heard about the spin off I wasn’t too sure about it. Now seeing the cast I know its going to be horrible! Nothing can ever compare let alone replace or be the “spin off” of Beverly hills 90210!!! Even with the involvement of the original cast members. Its going to be another cw show about young kids and drama! I hate that they are going to mess up 90210’s legacy! That’s it!
I am a HUGE fan too– i agree with Camie saying why would the mess up 90210’s legacy! I am happy with the fact that Jennie and Tori will be included in the mix but really nothing can ever compare to the original– i love the one and only original 90210… i don’t know if I will watch the new one ????
i’m right behind camie and leah i still watch 90210 every night from 5 til 7. The only way i would want to see it now would be a special episode with all the origional cast. pref tiffany not shannon! Spin offs are nooo good
I agree with them too. Why do a spin off of such a popular show if it’s not going to be with the original characters? How disappointing! I was looking forward to this, but will probably not waste my time. Like Miranda, I DVR 90210 every day and watch it all the time.

I am a huge fan of 90210 too! I totally agree with all the above with everything they said just says it all for me to.
This new show about 90210 will be totally diferent to the original, nothing ever could be compare with the class of beverly hills created by aroon spelling. I’m a huge fan of the show but i have to see the new eppisodies wich includes jenny garth, tory spelling and maybe shannen doherthy and i think if the new creators may put some of the old characters the show will be seen because of them.
I totally agree with every one above. I am also a huge fan. Although im 17, my aunt used to watch this show in High School, and now i am watching reruns. i am not sure if i would watch the new “spin-off”. i am very much happy, and in love with the original Bevely Hills 90210. i agree 100% about destroying its legacy. especially the new cast. I am happy that Garth and Spelling are going to appear, but i would love it if Luke Perry made a speical gues appearce. By the By i wish the best of luck to the new cast.

GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE!! SURE,IT WONT BE LIKE THE ORIGINAL BUT HEY, IT COULD TURN OUT TO BE GOOD JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL. YES, IVE WATCHED THE ORIGINAL AND IT WAS GREAT BUT EVERYONE PLEASE GIVE THIS SHOW A CHANCE. SURE THE CAST IS A BUNCH OF UNKNOWNS BUT LORI LOUGHLIN WHO USE TO BE ON FULL HOUSE WILL BE ON IT AS WELL AS TORI AND JENNIE AND MAYBE SHANNON.. SO PLEASE DONT KNOCK IT UNTIL IT HITS THE AIR IN SEPT!!!

I probably will give it a peek, but I agree mostly with the others! Nothing compares to the original. It is also one of my all time faves!! I miss it a lot! I had all the characters posters on my wall when I was a Teen. I still lie in bed sometimes & watch the reruns on SoapNet. My daughter will love it too, I’m sure! She is almost 11 so its time for me to introduce her to one of my faves:)
Remember The OC. Yeah, that show was pretty lame - I would never watch a spin-off of that show because the original was just “so-so” to begin with. But 90210 was (is) such an AWESOME show why should we expect anything less from its spin-off - and hey, its not like the new show doesn’t know it has some seriously big shoes to fill - its gonna be AWESOME - and a shout out to “Chickenhead” who knows Degrassi - I hope you all know that show (is AWESOME) and is also a spin-off.
i agree with camie i am i huge fan i love it i watch the re-runs on soapnet and i own the seasons but after i heard about the spin off i was kinda of upset its going to be so stupid. they should have just left it alone

The nineties were an era. Our TV shows rocked…. but trying to gain success off of them with spin offs…. not too smart! These shows were made for their time. It is obviously going to be completely diff. Back then teen pregnancy and drugs were a big deal… now they are just common. Hell, they didn’t even really cuss!! Taking a show that was made to fit a certain era and “remaking” it is stupid. If it’s going to be different, why give it that name? 90210 was a success all on it’s own and doesn’t need to be messed up. Maybe the show will work and be good, but (I doubt it) it’s still not 90210, ya know? And all the people who watched 90210 are grown now… we got into it b/c of our age and now we’re past acne and high school so the fame of the show won’t appeal to us and the younger kids don’t even know what 90210 is all about, so why take the chance of ruining the good name? And besides, did it work for Saved By The Bell?
I only want to watch the bits with the original cast members. They are going to be gold. Maybe the show will draw me into liking whoever these new people are as I watch only for Tori and the original cast.
