Mariah Carey’s Wedding Details
Mariah Carey decision to wed Nick Cannon after dating for just six-weeks may have surprised many but the wedding was probably planned in advanced.
Given to the effort spent on the wedding, we’d say it was plan at least 2 weeks before hand. That probably means that the pair decided to get married after knowing one another for only about a month! That’s crazy!
On the wedding day, April 29th, Mariah, Nick and their 24 guests arrived via two private jets in the Bahamas.
An eyewitnesses says, everyone came out with drinks in their hands and in a very party mode when they departed the plane.
Upon arrival, Mariah and Nick headed to her $5 million home nearby while guests checked in to a local hotel. Mariah and Nick were married at noon the day after on the patio of her mansion overlooking the ocean.
An airport waitress tells Life & Style that “Mariah’s assistant arrived on Eleuthera Island, just off the coast of Windermere, on April 27 to start making arrangements. The next day, a commercial jet arrived from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., carrying two huge tanks of live Maine lobsters.”
Mariah’s security team and several staff members also flew in a few days earlier to get the home ready in time.
An insider adds, “Whenever Mariah travels, they set up for her beforehand. And it’s no joke. If anything she needs or wants is missing, she’ll be upset.”
That’s freaky!
The flowers were flown in with the florist on a private jet and as for the cake, Mariah flew the cake over with her in her own private jet.
A source adds, “It was on the seat next to her. She wouldn’t let anyone come near it or touch it.”
We’re still wondering how long will the pair stay together.
