Lindsay Lohan Poses Nude as Marilyn Monroe on New York Magazine
Lindsay Lohan recreates The Last Sitting, the famous and revealing last photo shoot of Marilyn Monroe for the new spring fashion issue of New York magazine.
Bert Stern the same photographer that did Marilyn Monroe’s photo shoot in 1962 (collectively known as “The Last Sitting”) called Lindsay to recreate Monroe’s existence.
Lindsay’s mom-manager Dina Lohan comment about her daughter’s recent famous recreation.
“It was very tastefully done. I respect the photographer as an artist, so I look at them artistically. For him to call Lindsay 46 years later and to say can you recreate these photos is an honor. I looked at it as art, and as Lindsay doing a character. So I don’t look at them like it’s Playboy; she was being a character. So if you look at it that way, you can look at it as a mother. Trust me, I wouldn’t have sent my 14-year-old to the set [if the shoot was in bad taste]. And obviously Lindsay wouldn’t do anything with her sister there, that was risqué. Lindsay was very excited when she first got the phone call. Of course we talked about how they would be done. Lindsay said, ‘Mommy, I’m never going to get this opportunity to do it again.’ She was very thankful she was asked. She’s always loved Marilyn,” Dina says. “For Christmas, my girlfriends even gave her a Marilyn cookie jar. I think there’s a sadness that Lindsay feels for Marilyn. Lindsay really saw it as a gift back to someone. Lindsay did 250 crunches before because she was nervous since she had never done anything like that before.”

Well I dont see whats wrong with this but the pictures Marilyn did cannot ever be recreated,its a disgrace to her name i think.Im a big marilyn fan and Lindsay is not ugly but dosnt have the beauty that she did so these photos just look silly
I think these are in poor taste and do nothing to honor Marilyn’s memory. Lindsey is a tramp. Nothing could re-capture or re-create something as timeless as the real Marilyn. If someone MUST do this they could have picked a better looking more deserving person! Lindsay has none of Marilyn’s looks, charm or talent. Lindsey is a classless, talentless bimbo. The artist who took these should have left the memory of Marilyn untainted. I agree with the person who said these photos look silly. The poor girl has no hips, no waist and a beastly face! Platnum blond is also the WORST possible color choice for her hair and does nothing but bring out her blotchy, pale, uneven, polluted looking skin! She alos DOES appear to have small implants and its doing nothing for her boyish, scarwny figure….Oh yeah, one more thing, WHAT THE HECK HAS LL BEEN IN LATELY?
