Guns N’ Roses Finally Finishes Chinese Democracy album

According to numerous reports, Guns N’ Roses have finally finished working on Chinese Democracy, the album that Axl Rose has been working on for the past 14 years and reportedly cost in excess of $13 million to produce.
The band’s record label Geffen Records have confirmed they have received a finished copy of the album, and are currently haggling over money and rights issues with Rose.
Eddie Trunk also claimed Geffen might have the album: “I hear the new G&R CD is actually done, but the delay in release is not the bands issues but the label.”
With so much money tied up in this record it will be virtually impossible to be profitable in todays business for the label.
Guns N’ Roses confirms that despite rumors around on the Internet, the band will not be appearing on any reality TV program to promote their forthcoming album, Chinese Democracy, or for any other reason.
After 14 years of delay and all the money issue between Rose and Geffen, it’s rather doubtful that the band’s album will be released smoothly this year.
Dr Pepper is the first to take the challenge after making a press announcement that it will give a free can of Dr Pepper to “everyone in America if Chinese Democracy arrives anytime during the calendar year 2008.
Do you think Chinese Democracy is finally coming?!

I’m psyched to hear the new release by GnR is coming out this year. I’ve been a fan of Axl since 1986, hearing him perform in L.A. As for the comment about the album not being profitable, I think you don’t know much. A 14-year delay only makes true fans salivate that much more for a new release. I’ll buy it for myself and all my friends. Axl, if you catch this, you are THE beastly dude - keep rockin’!
