Mariah Carey Engaged With Nick Cannon

Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon are engaged.

Mariah put a massive rock on display on her left-hand ring finger at the after party for her new movie Tennessee at the TriBeCa Film Festival in NYC this past weekend.

The engagement ring was later identified as the same ring Nick gave his former fiance, Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks.

Nick was previously engaged to Selita from May to October 2007.

A source close to Cannon’s ex-fiance, Selita confirms “That IS the same ring.”

Mariah, 38-years-old, has been quietly dating Nick, 27-years-old, for a few months now.

When People magazine asked Cannon what he loved about Carey, he said “Everything!”

Seems like Nick Cannon didn’t want to put the ring to a waste after Selita returned it to him and reused it on 11-years his senior Mariah Carey.

How long will the pair last?

Travis Barker & Kids at Malibu Country Mart

Travis Barker was busy playing a doting dad while most of his peers were busy playing at the Coachella music festival this past weekend.

The Blink-182 drummer took his kids, Landon, 4, and Alabama, 2, to the playground at the Malibu Country Mart and for some lunch at Howdy’s Mexican restaurant later.

Rockers are probably working to change their image. Rocker Benji Madden of Good Charlotte was recently regarded as a polite and well-mannered gentleman who doesnt drink or smoke and is a healthy vegan by Paris Hilton’s parents.

Somehow we thought Barker should try dressing up his kids for the outing. The kids were spotted in their PJs.

Overall an amazing father!

Miley Cyrus Vanity Fair Topless Scandal (16 Photos)

Photo of Miley Cyrus posing topless for Vanity Fair magazine on the upcoming June 2008 issue unveiled by the magazine once again put the 15-year-old Disney’s Hannah Montana star in the center of the media storm.

The magazine spreads featuring the topless teen’s role model clutching a satin sheet to her chest with her back bare exposed photographed by famed celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz. The magazine spread surfaces the internet last weekend and the world didn’t take the idea of a topless 15-years-old teen icon too well.

Vanity Fair defended their position saying, “Miley’s parents and/or minders were on the set all day. Since the photo was taken digitally, they saw it on the shoot and everyone thought it was a beautiful and natural portrait of Miley.”

Leibovitz released a statement on Monday saying the pictures she took of Miley Cyrus for Vanity Fair have been ‘misinterpreted’.

“I’m sorry that my portrait of Miley has been misinterpreted. Miley and I looked at fashion photographs together, and we discussed the picture in that context before we shot it. The photograph is a simple, classic portrait, shot with very little makeup, and I think it is very beautiful.”

Miley Cyrus’ Interview Highlights

On Sex and the City: “It’s my favorite show! I love it! Obviously not the scenarios. But if you watch Sex and the City, like the way the friends are, the way that it’s dry and they all have distinct characters—that’s a thing we try to do on our show.”

Isn’t 15-years-old too young to watch Sex and the City?

On the infamous semi-topless shot: “No, I mean I had a big blanket on. And I thought, This looks pretty, and really natural. I think it’s really artsy. [And] it wasn’t in a skanky way.… And you can’t say no to [photographer Annie Leibovitz]. She’s so cute. She gets this puppy-dog look and you’re like, O.K.”

On fame and public attention: “That’s just my personality. I don’t get shaken or stirred up over anything. Which can be a problem sometimes. I’m just, like, so no emotions. I just don’t let things faze me. I’m very much like my dad. My dad’s like this.”

On being pals with paparazzi outside her gated home. “Sometimes there’ll be like 40. Sometimes 20, sometimes 30. Sometimes two. I’ll stop and I’ll do the picture. It’s really funny. They’ll buy our dinner and whatever. We’ve become friends.”

Media Storm

New York Post made a front page headline exclaiming, Miley’s Shame.

LA Times says, “Somebody needs to pull in the reins of this talented little gal before her career stampedes off into the sunset.”

Disney suggested that, “Unfortunately, as the article suggests, a situation was created to deliberately manipulate a 15-year-old in order to sell magazines.”

Miley’s Apology

Miley released the following statement on Sunday, a few days after saying the Vanity Fair’s topless magazine spread looks pretty and artsy.

After a series of scandalous photos and endless scandal is it time to get OneRepublic to sing its too late to apologize?

“I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed. I never intended for any of this to happen and I apologize to my fans who I care so deeply about.”

The scandalous June 2008 issue of Vanity Fair featuring Miley Cyrus, set to hit newsstands next week. It’s rather disappointing that Vanity Fair is whoring out a teen girl to sell magazines.

We’re sure those pedophiles out there will be more than excited to see this photos.

Is Miley’s parents to be blame for whoring out their daughter and perhaps Vanity Fair magazine for taking advantage on a teen?

Chace Crawford @ Mario Kart Wii Launch Party

Even Chace Crawford didn’t want to miss the Nintendo’s Mario Kart Wii launch party at the Nintendo World store in NYC’s Rockefeller Center past Saturday.

Chace posed with Mario mascot for a number of shots and even took some time to snap with fans.

The Gossip Girl hottie became amongst the first to test drive the new Mario Kart Wii video game alongside with former Beverly Hills 90210 star Jason Priestley.

Crawford was however defeated by Priestley in their Mario Kart multiplayer race.

Scarlett Johansson wants you to know that she is no where near being the characters she plays.

Michael Jackson Encino Property Facing Foreclosure

Michael Jackson’s Encino property is facing foreclosure not long after facing the risk of losing Neverland to foreclosure not long ago.

A Notice of Trustee’s Sale dated April 11th details that the singer’s three-bedroom, three-bathroom property was scheduled to be sold at a public auction on May 5 at 10:30 a.m. if the Jackson failed to pay the balance of $414,806.66 he owes on the property.

However, the alleged child molester once again caught up on his payments from an unidentified cookie jar

“The property has been paid and is no longer in foreclosure,” says a rep for Wacko.

How long will the former single be able to stay this way?

Madonna 4 Minutes Surpass 1 Million in Digital Sales

Madonna’s new album Hard Candy reaches a new milestone within the first week it goes on sales.

Madonna’s single 4 Minutes has become the second single ever to sell over one million units digitally in five weeks. A record first set by Rihanna’s Umbrella last year.

Digital sales is the current key area in the music industry.

As of today, 4 Minutes manage to fetch l,004,482 units in digital sales.

Lauren Conrad Sex Tape Exist?

Spencer Pratt told Tyra Banks that he is 100% sure that Lauren Conrad sex tape did exist on Tuesday’s episode of The Tyra Banks Show.

“I know for 100% fact it did exist – 1000%!” he declares.

When Tyra asked if Pratt had actually seen it, Pratt state that he would take a lie detector test if necessary.

“I would never watch that!” Pratt says. “I would rather throw up… but I know for a fact, and I would take a lie detector test.”

Heidi Montag who was also on the show also claims the tape was “not a rumor.” Montag added, “from what I have heard from confirmed sources… her ex-boyfriend was going around trying to sell it.”

Tyra began questioning about their credibility and if she hadn’t seen the tape, how could she be so sure it existed.

“Well, I mean, I am not sure she has it anymore… but from what I’ve heard…”

Montag adds, “I am not really allowed to elaborate.”

Ohhh dayum….her scripted lies probably doesn’t include that part.

Conrad’s ex-boy/alleged sex tape star Jason Wahler called Ryan Seacrest’s radio show on Wednesday to set the record straight.

Wahler told Seacrest “There is no tape, that’s the most frustrating thing. They’re such lowlifes, they have nothing better to do. I was in rehab when I found out. It was just another frustrating thing. I couldn’t have a say—I was on lockdown.”

SugarDVD an online adult DVD rentals company reportedly offered $500,000 for the sex tape due to Jason Wahler’s recent Seattle arrest but retracted their offer.

The complete episode of The Tyra Banks Show will be airing tomorrow, Tuesday of April 29.
