Nicole Richie’s Baby Shower

Nicole Richie had her baby shower at Beverly Hills, yesterday. It was hosted by Richie’s mother Brenda, and thrown together by her sister Sophia and friends Paris Hilton and Masha Gordon. Mindy Weiss, celebrity party planner acted as the organizer.

Invitations were being hand-delivered on Thursday to the event, whose theme was The Wizard of Oz, Richie’s favorite. About 90 people attended the Beverly Hills shower.

Guests reportedly picked up a pair of baby sneakers for a boy, and a Tummy T Jack maternity shirt with a picture of a boy on the front from NoMi boutique in L.A.

Nicole once said her dream family would include “three girls and twin boys.”

Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden should be expecting for their baby (boy) around January.

Nicole and Joel Rejected by Neighbors

Joel Madden and soon to be mom Nicole Richie found their dream house, somehow rejection from neighbors force them to look again.

Usmagazine.com reports that Nicole made an offer on a home in a gated community in Southern California, but other residents were concerned about paparazzi stalking their houses and lawns, and denied her application.

I bet they were worried that if Paris happens to drop by in the neighborhood and perform something funky.
