Carey: Life Is Beautiful

Mariah Carey is happily married with Nick Cannon and claims that she’s happier than ever.

The pop-star told MTV News, “It’s good. Life is beautiful, and things are going well.”

Carey and Cannon wed in April and the ‘Touch My Body’ singer claims that since then she has heard people say that their marriage is rocky. She says, “I’m like, ‘Why would we have gotten married?’ People are going to say what they say, but what would be the purpose? I guess other people do those things for a purpose, but I don’t know.”

Mariah added, “I’m ecstatic, so be ecstatic with me!” she adds. “Be happy with me. Can we celebrate?”

Cannon Proposed Twice To Carey

Mariah Carey has admitted that Nick Cannon proposed to her twice; once on her Manhattan roottop and again a few days later on a helicopter. She told Elle magazine, “He sort of kidnapped me and took me on a helicopter ride. Then he re-proposed.”

Also the pop-star thinks that they didn’t rush into a marriage, dating weren’t just for the. Mariah added, “Most people would think ‘Okay, please! This doesn’t happen in real life!’”

“We really kept the whole relationship aspect of it quiet. Therefore, we didn’t really ‘date’. Because that would have been not quiet or private. I think we didn’t want to give people a chance to be like ‘What are you doing? What are you talking about? This is so quick… are you sure?’”

Mariah Carey “Bye Bye” Video

Mariah Carey just released the video to her second single Bye Bye from her album E=MC2.

Mariah’s husband Nick Cannon is featured in the video.

That’s a very touching song and the video will definitely bring back sad memories to some of us. Hold your tears girls!

Mariah & Nick At Time 100 Party

Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon attended the Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World event together at Lincoln Center in New York City on Thursday.

Mariah also performed a song for the Time 100 party that night.

Later that night, Mariah and Nick out for dinner at Waverly Inn.

The pair are so in love right now, they are already talking about having babies together.

Mariah Carey’s Wedding Details

Mariah Carey decision to wed Nick Cannon after dating for just six-weeks may have surprised many but the wedding was probably planned in advanced.

Given to the effort spent on the wedding, we’d say it was plan at least 2 weeks before hand. That probably means that the pair decided to get married after knowing one another for only about a month! That’s crazy!

On the wedding day, April 29th, Mariah, Nick and their 24 guests arrived via two private jets in the Bahamas.

An eyewitnesses says, everyone came out with drinks in their hands and in a very party mode when they departed the plane.

Upon arrival, Mariah and Nick headed to her $5 million home nearby while guests checked in to a local hotel. Mariah and Nick were married at noon the day after on the patio of her mansion overlooking the ocean.

An airport waitress tells Life & Style that “Mariah’s assistant arrived on Eleuthera Island, just off the coast of Windermere, on April 27 to start making arrangements. The next day, a commercial jet arrived from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., carrying two huge tanks of live Maine lobsters.”

Mariah’s security team and several staff members also flew in a few days earlier to get the home ready in time.

An insider adds, “Whenever Mariah travels, they set up for her beforehand. And it’s no joke. If anything she needs or wants is missing, she’ll be upset.”

That’s freaky!

The flowers were flown in with the florist on a private jet and as for the cake, Mariah flew the cake over with her in her own private jet.

A source adds, “It was on the seat next to her. She wouldn’t let anyone come near it or touch it.”

We’re still wondering how long will the pair stay together.

Mariah Carey & Nick’s Wedding Photo

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s wedding photos are sold exclusively to People’s magazine.

The couple shocked the media and fans for their decision to get married after dating for only six-week.

Mariah, 38-year-old and 27-year-old actor, Nick, tie the knot at a sunset ceremony on the beach in the Bahamas on April 30th.

Mariah tells the magazine, “We really do feel we are soulmates. I never felt a love like this was in the cards for me.”

Nick adds “She is beautiful on the outside and 10 times as beautiful on the inside,” referring to Mariah’s VIBE magazine cover shoot.

Got married in six-weeks? Is this love at first sight or yet another Hollywood’s relationship failure?

Mariah & Nick Already Married

Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon are already married!

Mariah and Nick who were barely engaged already had their nuptial taken place at Mariah’s new place in the Bahamas this past Wednesday.

The nuptials are said to have taken place on an island and the small ceremony was “very impulsive.” They have also obtained a marriage license there.

“They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks,” the friend said. “And she’s always had a crush on him.”

Nick’s family member Linda Cannon confirms the news to E! News.

“Yes, we know. He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him.”

“I’m not going to give you any details, but we are happy for him.”

Meanwhile a worried source reveals that “There was no pre-nup - there wasn’t time.”

Mariah Carey Engaged With Nick Cannon

Mariah Carey and actor Nick Cannon are engaged.

Mariah put a massive rock on display on her left-hand ring finger at the after party for her new movie Tennessee at the TriBeCa Film Festival in NYC this past weekend.

The engagement ring was later identified as the same ring Nick gave his former fiance, Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks.

Nick was previously engaged to Selita from May to October 2007.

A source close to Cannon’s ex-fiance, Selita confirms “That IS the same ring.”

Mariah, 38-years-old, has been quietly dating Nick, 27-years-old, for a few months now.

When People magazine asked Cannon what he loved about Carey, he said “Everything!”

Seems like Nick Cannon didn’t want to put the ring to a waste after Selita returned it to him and reused it on 11-years his senior Mariah Carey.

How long will the pair last?
