Jessica Simpson’s “Blonde Ambition” Goes Straight To DVD

Jessica Simpson’s latest movie, Blonde Ambition is going straight to the DVD. Jessica star in the romantic comedy alongside Owen Wilson’s brother Luke Wilson in that flick.

If you’re a Jessica Simpson fan, the DVD is set to go on sale on January 22.

Update: The movie will be available in 8 theater in Texas on December 21.

Elizabeth Wolfe, a spokesperson for Nu Image/Millennium Films and First Look Distribution, says, “It is being released in this crowded marketplace in eight theaters in Texas. The reason we chose Texas is the two stars are from Texas: Jessica Simpson and Luke Wilson. As an independent studio, we, as a rule, don’t have major wide releases. It’s a very common release practice for independent studios.”
