Spears Family Sells OK! Magazine

Jamie Lynn Spears has become the biggest selling cover star in the history of OK! magazine in America.
The explosive issue that announced Jamie Lynn’s teen pregnancy sold 2 million copies, triple of OK!’s regular weekly circulation.
Meanwhile the magazine’s second best selling issue ever was Britney’s meltdown at an OK! photo shoot this past summer, which sold 1.2 million copies.
Spears family drama sells! Gimme gimme..more…
Casey Is Not Father To Jamie Lynn’s Baby?

According to some magazine reports, Jamie Lynn Spears boyfriend, Casey Alridge is not the father of her baby.
Star magazine insists that the teenager may not be the dad - and that Spears’ friends and family think it is an older man who would face statutory rape charges.
Jamie Lynn’s family members told Star that they believe the real father is a much older executive at her TV show ‘Zoey 101′. Friends of Jamie Lynn mentioned, that she was no longer even seeing Casey.
Star magazine insists, “Casey is being paid off to be the family’s fall guy while the real father remains unidentified.”
They say the real reason is that an older man could be charged with statutory rape if revealed to be the father of an under-aged girl’s baby.
But in Jamie Lynn’s home state of Louisiana, Casey would escape charges because a 16-year-old can legally have sex with someone less than two years older than her. “Conveniently, Casey falls under the bar by just 26 days.
“The man many suspect is the father, however, would face charges and probably prison time if he were to come forward and admit he had sex with her,” Star magazine states.
The magazine quotes “two separate Spears family insiders” who believe the father is someone who works on Jamie Lynn’s kids’ show. “Jamie Lynn has been working on Zoey since she was 13,” one of the sources said. “In Hollywood, little girls grow up fast, and she is no exception.
“With everything that has gone on in her family, she needed someone to look up to. But the man she found seems to have completely taken advantage of her.”
Another family source added: “Some of us have doubts as to the legitimacy of the claim that Casey is the father.
“Before the news of the pregnancy, how often did you see them together?
“Jamie Lynn has dated Casey on and off over the past two years.
“But it was not steady. In fact, she was looking to date Kevin Federline’s brother about a year ago.”
“Jamie Lynn went through a time of partying, and Casey was just a part of that.”
Even Casey recently posted on his own MySpace that he was feeling “blah” about his love life, and added: “Me and Jamie are over…”
“Casey is a serial cheater who has lied to Jamie Lynn time and time again,” a close friend told the magazine. “This past spring, he was forced to tell Jamie Lynn that he’d cheated on her and gotten that girl pregnant.”
In fact, Star even insists Casey was openly dating yet another girl at the same time as he was supposed to be romancing Spears. “Yes, my sister is dating Casey - they’ve been dating for a while,” said Kevin Seals of his sister Whitney Seals.
“I know Jamie Lynn was real jealous about Whitney’s relationship with Casey.”
No matter who the father is, insiders believe the teen pregnancy will probably end Jamie’s career because Nickelodeon will having a hard time doing clean up for its clean-cut reputation.
“I cant think of any way that Nickelodeon could keep Jamie Lynn’s show on the air, said PR expert Michael Levine.
“If they do, advertisers will drop it like crazy. No advertiser wants to be associated with a minor getting pregnant.”
Jamie Lynn Spears Guy Is In The Clear

Jamie Lynn Spears‘ guy, Casey Aldridge won’t be charged with statutory rape! You bet he’s relieved.
According to the Department of Motor Vehicles records (and a family member), teenage daddy Casey is only 18 years old.
Casey Aldridge was born on April 29th, 1989. Meanwhile Jamie Lynn was born on April 4th, 1991.
That puts her at just under two years younger than him.
Now Nickelodeon star, Jamie Lynn can continue with her pre-marital teenage sex with Casey in peace!
Jamie Lynn Is No Longer Together With Casey?

Britney Spear’s sister, Jamie Lynn Spears 16 year-old pregnancy isnt the only around. Life & Style magazine is now reporting that Jamie Lynn and Casey Aldridge are no longer seeing each other!
“Jamie Lynn and Casey are NOT together,” a source close to the pair tells Life & Style. “They’ve broken up numerous times, but he was her first and she kept taking him back,” says the insider. They’re not dating now. He’s really got nothing to offer this baby. He’s a kid himself. They have no plans to get married. At this point, Jamie Lynn has asked her mom — and not Casey — to be in the delivery room with her.”
Wow Jamie Lynn sure is working to achieve Britney’s accomplishment at a younger age. And she’s pretty much on track!
Jamie Lynn’s Full Interview With OK!

Finally the full interview from Jamie Lynn and Lynne Spears‘ tell-all with OK! magazine.
Jamie Lynn on finding out she was expecting:
“It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he. I can’t say it was something I was planning to do right now, but now that it’s in my lap and that it’s something I have to deal with, definitely, I’m looking forward to being the best mom I can be.”
On deciding to keep the baby:
“As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody. Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.
I think my whole life I would have to live with knowing what I did or what I didn’t do. I’m trying to do the right thing, I think that this is what is going to make me happy in the end.”
Telling Casey:
“[I called Casey after the doctor’s appointment and met in person the next day.] It was something we couldn’t really talk about over the phone. We met and talked about everything and decided what we wanted to do. He was 100 percent supportive, and we figured it out.”
Telling her mother:
“[I told my mom right before Thanksgiving.] She was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all. A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”
On her first ultrasound:
“[Mom and Casey were there.] I was just kinda sitting there. I didn’t expect to be able to see all that. Again, it was a shock. At first, everything is so shocking and you’re scared. But then when I saw it, I was like ‘It’s going to be okay.’ It’s things like that that make you realize it’ll be okay.”
On her body:
“I think it’s something that you just know how to do. As your body changes and all these things happen, I think it becomes natural to know what to do. I will have to be strong and do what’s right. I’m sure it’ll get hard at times. I’m sure I’ll be grumpy. I have to remember in the end that I have to stand up and be strong.
I’m not showing, but some days I’m like: ‘Wow, I feel like I’m showing today,’ and Mom says: ‘No you’re not. Be quiet.’ It’s great to have her there. She is really supportive of me.”
On the sex of the baby:
“I want to find out as soon as I can because I’m impatient. I just want a healthy, happy baby, so the whether it’s a boy or a girl really doesn’t matter.”
On names:
“I haven’t thought about baby names yet. I would have to hear some options!”
On morning sickness:
“I definitely had sickness, but it’s getting better. It was at its worst a few weeks ago.”
No cravings:
“I haven’t really got much of an appetite right now. I mean, I eat, but I’m not going crazy or anything.”
On preparations such as the nursery:
“I haven’t even had time to think about that much yet as I have had so much going on. All you can be is excited now, so definitely, I will be excited.”
On marriage and the living situation:
Jamie Lynn wants to make clear that they do not live together — she lives with Lynne, while he lives with his parents.
“Right now, we’re just focusing on the baby and having a healthy baby. We’re trying just to think about that right now so we haven’t really talked about that.”
“On believing she’ll be a good mom:
I love babies, and I have my nephews that I love. I have a great mom and she has raised three kids, so if I take lessons from her, I think I’ll be great. All my friends have little brothers or sisters.”
On Casey as a father:
“He has always been good with babies. He’s like a big teddy bear, especially around babies, so I know he’ll make a good dad.”
Her hopes for 2008:
“Just to have a healthy baby and a healthy pregnancy and for everything to fall in place and to become a stronger person from here.”
Advice from Lynne:
“To be strong.”
Jamie Lynn says the situation has brought them closer together.
On premarital sex:
“I definitely don’t think it’s something you should do; it’s better to wait. But I can’t be judgmental because it’s a position I put myself in.”

On finding out Jamie Lynn was pregnant:
“She came to me and said: ‘Mom, I have to tell you something. Here, it’s in a note.’ I was taken aback. I read the note, which of course said that she was pregnant, and ran into the living room. I said: ‘I don’t believe this. This is not funny!’ I looked at Casey, and he was staring straight ahead. She said: ‘Yes, Momma, it’s true.’
I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious. She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”
On her reaction:
“You have to sit and think about it and deal with the situation that you have and stay focused that there is this beautiful new living human being that’s on its way.”
On knowing it was real:
“[The 3-month ultrasound.] I guess that’s what it took for me to really believe it.”
On her teenage daughter raising a baby:
“I want her to ask me to help as much as she wants me to because I will be there for her. I want to be a big part, if she wants me to be.”
On if Jamie Lynn and Casey should get married:
“We’re not going there. We’re focusing on the baby. We’ve got so much to focus on right now.”
On grandchildren:
“My grandsons are so adorable! Of course, another little boy would be precious, but a little girl would be precious too. It doesn’t matter so long as it’s healthy — that’s what’s important.”
Her hopes for 2008:
“Health, peace, happiness and a real good healthy focus for life, for all [my children’s] lives.”
Jamie Lynn’s Words Come Back Around

Back in July, National Enquirer reported about Jamie Lynn Spears‘ pregnancy and Jamie’s lawyer immediately threatened legal action against the publication.
Now a source from National Enquirer leaked the letter that was sent that time.
“Ms. Spears is a devout Christian with a spotless reputation, who lives in accordance with the highest moral and ethical standards in accordance with her faith.
There is no “rumor” concerning Ms. Spears’ (non-existent) pregnancy, except perhaps for the baseless “rumor” just now being created by the National Enquirer.
Ms. Spears is not pregnant. It is pathetic for the National Enquirer to attempt to create a wholly baseless “rumor” that Ms. Spears is pregnant, so it can run a malicious story and false story which would be emotionally devastating to a morally upright 16 year old girl.”
Its a priceless joke!
K-Fed Knew About Jamie Lynn’s Pregnancy Before Britney

Apparently Kevin Federline found out about Jamie Lynn Spears‘ pregnancy before Britney Spears did!
Britney did not know about the big news until its splashed on the cover of the new issue of OK! magazine.
Somehow, K-Fed was warned in advance due to his close relationship with Lynne Spears, Jamie Lynn and the entire Spears family. Kevin has stronger ties with the Spears family probably due to their grandchildren, meanwhile Britney has been estranged from her mother and father.
“Kevin knew before Britney that Jamie Lynn is pregnant,” a Federline family insider tells the NY Post. “In fact, Britney’s mom Lynne, told Kevin about it on Monday, [December 17], because Lynne wanted Kevin to be prepared.”
The insider adds, “We’re waiting for the fallout from Britney. Kevin is sure Britney will flip out and blame her mom and dad.”
Wonder what will Britney do to retaliate. She wants back all the attention that Jamie Lynn has taken from her!

Here are some highlights of the interview:
On learning the news: “It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected…I was in complete and total shock and so was he…As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody…Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”
On premarital sex: “I definitely don’t think it’s something you should do; it’s better to wait,” she says. “But I can’t be judgmental because it’s a position I put myself in.”
Lynne on her daughter’s underage pregnancy: “I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious. She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”
Jamie Lynn told momma Spears, Lynne, just before Thanksgiving, the magazine reports.
“She was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all,” Spears says. “A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”
Britney who didn’t know about her sister’s pregnancy until she called up OK! magazine to ask about the interview will definitely be the first to buy a copy of the magazine when it hit stand.
OK! magazine has agreed to pay Jamie Lynn $1 million for the photo of the baby when its born.
The six pages of exclusive interview with Jamie Lynn and her mother with OK! magazine is set to hit the news-stand in New York today and the rest of the country by Friday.
As a result to this pregnancy news, mom Lynne Spears’s planned book on parenting is being delayed.
“The book is delayed indefinitely. It’s delayed, not cancelled,” says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes Christian books. “We are standing behind Lynn at this time and understand that she needs time with her family – we support that.”
Lynne’s book had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release. Cancel the damn book! She obviously doesn’t know shit about raising kids.
Jamie Lynn who is 12 months pregnant now plans to raise the baby in her home state of Louisiana — “so it can have a normal family life.”
Nickelodeon has issued the following statement yesterday afternoon: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”
Will this create legal issue for underage sex? and is Jamie Lynn following her sister, Britney’s footstep?
