Halle Berry Gave Birth To A Baby Girl

Halle Berry and her model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry welcomed their newborn daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry after Berry gave birth past Sunday.

The 41-year-old Oscar winning actress, Berry first met the 32-year-old model father of the baby girl, Gabriel Aubry while shooting a Versace ad in Los Angeles back in November 2005.

Nahla means honeybee in Arabic.

The actress tells Access Hollywood, “We didn’t have a name picked out until just before we left the hospital.”

“For us it was hard to name the most important person in our life until we met her,” Berry adds.

Halle first announced her pregnancy in September last year, when she was three months along.

Gabriel Aubry’s family member who lives in Canada were said to be very happy about the good news.

“I was so happy when I found out,” Eugenie Aubry, 36, tells about the new baby girl born on Sunday to Halle Berry and Eugenie’s younger brother, Gabriel Aubry.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve had a new baby in the family,” said Eugenie. “It’s very exciting.”

“I’m a Quebecer, and it’s great that she is learning how to speak French,” Eugenie says. “I’m glad that the little one will speak French, too.

According to Gabriel’s Aunt Eugenie, Aubry family planning a welcome party in Montreal for its newest family member.

“We’re going to have a big party for them,” she says. “My father is so happy right now.”
