David Beckham Speaking of His Award

David Beckham received an Outstanding Achievement award at the Football Writers’ Association last weekend and here is what he has to say on his official blog.

“Hello and a happy new year to you all,

I’ve had an incredible start to the year already! I was lucky enough to receive the Football Writers Tribute Award last night, which was amazing for me personally. I was pleased to have Sven Goran Eriksson and Bryan Robson there at the ceremony saying a few words about my career. Both of them have achieved much in the game and are good people. It was also very emotional watching the highlights of my career so far. I’m so proud of what I have accomplished and I know I still have plenty more to offer. It was a special night for both me and my family, who were also there with me, and I hope I can create some more memories to add to the ones recognised yesterday evening.

I’m currently spending my days at Arsenal’s training ground, making sure I keep myself fit during the MLS off-season. It’s nice to be back in the UK even though the weather is a bit chilly! I’m definitely missing the Californian sun, and it was very kind of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal to let me train alongside the squad and use their facilities. I’m working hard to keep fit and to give myself the best chance of being called up to Fabio Cappello’s first England squad next month.

David Beckham Trust Best Friend With Victoria Naked

David Beckham picked up an Outstanding Achievement award at the Football Writers’ Association at The Lancaster Hotel in London on Sunday.

In his speech of acceptance, he reveals that there were only three men he would trust to leave alone with his wife, Victoria Beckham naked.

He thanked the Manchester United’s star Gary Neville, his football agent Dave Gardner, and personal manager Terry Byrn then stated the following.
“They are the three that I would trust with my wife naked. That’s how good they are as friends.”

The statement shocked Victoria’s dad, Tony Adams.

A source at the event said: “When he said he’d trust them to be naked with Victoria, his family all exchanged looks and Victoria’s dad went red-faced. But they all saw the funny side later.”

Sure its great to be best friends of the Beckhams. Tom Cruise will be waiting for his chance!

These are the newer ads from David Beckham’s campaign for Emporio Armani underwear. They are just the second wave of Beckham’s 3-years deal to promote Emporio Armani underwear line. The deal was told to worth over $46 million.

David Beckham First Armani Underwear Ad

David Beckham kicks off his first ads for Emporio Armani Underwear campaign. The 3-years deal was told to worth over $46 million.

The campaign will debut in the February edition of the US edition of Vanity Fair. From there it will roll out globally in sport, fashion and lifestyle magazines and on signature billboards in major cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo.

Beckham Spent Half A Million On Spice Girls

David Beckham spent $500,000 on Spice Girls‘ first reunion tour in Vancouver. He bought each one of the Spice Girls group a stunning diamond-encrusted bracelet valued at $100,000 a piece.

“He knows I’m really nervous about him seeing me back on stage, so he bought us all these bracelets for good luck,” says Victoria. “It’s like the old days. David spent a lot of time around the girls when we first got together - it’s as though he married all of us. He’s the original Spice Boy.”

Beckham said on Sunday, the first night of the Spice Girls tour, “I’ve got a broken rib at the moment but I’ve had them before and nothing would have stopped me coming. There’s no way I wouldn’t have been here. I haven’t even seen a rehearsal before tonight and it’s so exciting. I met Vic when she was a pop star and we can’t wait for our boys to see her on stage. I am so, so proud of her and of all of them. The outfits are amazing - I hope she brings some home! I’m on the road with them for three months and can’t wait. When you see them together it’s quite frightening - as though they’ve never been apart. It’s amazing that me and our boys can be a part of that this time around.”

In the interview, he talked about how American soccer sucks compared to be playing in the U.K. or Spain, his kids adopting American accent, his friendship with Tom Cruise, lil about his family and about his son Romeo being the next Justin Timberlake.

Beckham Goes On After England’s Loss

England’s defeat against Croatia, immediately denied their Euro 2008 on Wednesday. David Beckham who was teary after the game had to pack himself and take off to China.

Beckham continues his very lucrative relationship with Motorola as he signed a three-year collaboration as Motorola’s a global brand ambassador in 2006. He helped to launch the “Motorola Razr2 V8″ Luxury Edition cell phone in Beijing on Saturday.

He is expected to arrive in Sydney early Sunday Morning Australian time and the LA Galaxy will conduct a press conference at noon and a training session (media only) on Monday.

Becks and the team are expected to take in the Sydney FC v Queensland Roar match Sunday night and attend a posh party hosted by Fox Television on Monday night at Cafe Sydney. Elton John is also expected to be a special guest.

The LA Galaxy will play Sydney FC on Tuesday November 27 at 8.30PM in front of a sell-out 83,500 crowd at the Telstra Stadium.

After attempt to bring soccer to America, David Beckham will soon star in Giorgio Armani’s underwear ad campaign.

He is set to be the new global face for Emporio Armani Underwear, which will be available in the U.S. for the first time starting in February.

Soon every girl out there will be making their boyfriend wear one.
