Carmit Bachar Quits Pussycat Dolls
Carmit Bachar official announced her departure from the Pussycat Dolls on the group’s official website.
The redhead who joined PCD were while they were still a burlesque show in 1995 posted the following message on Pussycat Dolls blog to confirm the rumor of her departure after 13 years being in the group.
“Dear PCD fans,
I wanted to be the first to tell you that I am no longer in the Pussycat Dolls but we will always be sisters forever! Thanks to all the dedicated fans for your unconditional love and support! Exciting news is coming and I promise to keep you all posted!

Sources reveal that Carmit quits PCD to pursue other projects. Meanwhile the Pussycat Dolls has no intention of replacing Bachar with anyone else and it will just be five girls from now on.

Carmit has not had tons of “plastic” surgery, she has had reconstructive surgery because she was born with a cleft lip/palate. She didn’t have the surgery to be vain, she did it to have a chance at a normal life. Obviously you’re too stupid to know this, you’re certainly not the most observant people in the world, are ya? The fact that she didn’t let a birth defect on her face let the world get her down is wonderful and inspirational…not only that she started her own charity to help children who can not afford to have the reconstructive for a cleft lip performed. Carmit was my favourite one of the group. She helped make some of the choreography, and she rocked as a singer, and as a gymnast. To all those people who think she had plastic surgery done, you are correct, but it was for her cleft lip. So shame on all of you guys who said she was a tranny because she stood for female empowerment.. and obviously you don’t get what the whole group meant.
